Armored Saint and W.A.S.P.

Cleveland, OH – Cleveland Agora.

November 12, 2022

The W.A.S.P. 40 years live tour is in full effect and this show was sold out.

This show made you look at it differently. Of course its the return of Blackie to Cleveland, but looking at how the turnout was for this show was on a different level.  There were lines that wrapped about the block awaiting to get in, with freezing temperatures. People were anxious to see this powerful show.  Once inside if you wanted to grab some merch there was another huge line that rolled out from one room into the middle room and almost into the actual are where the band performed.  This was exiting to see as a media person. Knowing that hard rock/metal is definitely not dead, at least not here in Cleveland this night.

I’m not going to bore you with show details as this is the experience you need to see on your own.  But what I will tell you is this:  Armored Saint sound better than they ever have. They were full of energy, musically they were beyond tight.  Its the thing you look forward to when Armored Saint performs. You know the hits, you know the members and their history now you get to see them in action, and they blew me away again!

With a tremendous setlist and John’s vocals they pulled it off, the other guys are all on top of their game and this performance was magical.  Highly recommend if you like Armored Saint to please get to one of their shows.  This tour is selling out everywhere so don’t be a slacker.
