Ohio’s largest country music event, 92.3 WCOL Country Jam + Campout, has announced the daily music lineup for the Labor Day Weekend festival, including the addition of platinum-selling 10-time #1 hit singer / songwriter Cole Swindell, supporting his upcoming third album, All of It, due out August 17. Swindell will headline Saturday night, closing out the festival.
92.3 WCOL Country Jam + Campout has also added country music artists Brett Young, Chris Lane and Craig Campbell to the CST Utilities Main Stage at the historic Legend Valley in Thornville, OH, just outside Columbus on Thursday, August 30, Friday, August 31, and Saturday, September 1. Expanding to three days this year, 92.3 WCOL Country Jam + Campout will feature a superstar lineup of music including award-winning and highly-acclaimed country artists Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell, Jon Pardi, Maren Morris, Dan + Shay, and many more.
“I am excited to be part of WCOL Country Jam on Labor Day weekend,” said Cole Swindell. “Country radio and the fans in Ohio have always been so great to me and have been so important to where I am in my career. So many of them have been there for me since the beginning and I can’t wait to get back up there to play for all of them again! We will have just released my new album, All of It, a couple of weeks before this show so it will be even more fun to play some new music. We’ll have lots to celebrate!”
Those who purchase a 3-day festival pass and a camping pass will be able to see the ground-pounding excitement of the All Star Monster Truck Tour, a 4-wheel drive Truck & Tractor Pull, and Pro ATV Racing at the campgrounds at 92.3 WCOL Country Jam + Campout on Thursday, August 30 from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM.
The All Star Monster Truck Tour will showcase a head-to-head battle of bragging rights and household chores, as husband Zane Rettew in the Stinger Unleashed monster truck will face off against his wife, Lindsey Rettew in the brand new Pretty Wicked monster truck. These 11,000 pound, 1,500 horsepower All Star Monster Trucks will do battle in a tailgate smashing wheelie contest, head-to-head obstacle course racing, and a no rules, no-holds-barred freestyle competition to see who will reign supreme.
Alongside the All Star Monster Trucks, the thrilling 4-wheel drive Truck & Tractor Pull will include an all diesel Smoker Shootout, with four classes of the hottest diesel pullers in Ohio.
In addition, during the handlebar-banging excitement of Pro ATV Racing, professional riders will battle each other for both regional and national championship points as they race over a course of dirt jumps and tight turns.
92.3 WCOL Country Jam + Campout will also host Ohio’s biggest honky-tonk at Woody’s Saloon, featuring one of the premier line dancing DJs in country music spinning your favorite tunes until 2:00 AM each night, line dancing workshops, mechanical bull rides, surprise sets by some of country’s best DJs, oversized games including Beer Pong and Giant Jenga, lounge seating, photo ops, barbecue, beer and whiskey, and contests with chances to win VIP upgrades, backstage tours, merch and more.
