Cheap Trick – MGM Northfield Park

Northeast Ohio loves Cheap Trick and they loves us right back! Cheap Trick has performed in this necks of the woods almost every year for decades and if they did not perform once a year you would think something was wrong.  When you check out a Cheap Trick show you know what you are getting, whether it be at at festival or a smaller venue. They put on the same show and it is just as awesome. They may shrink the setlist a bit but the hits are all there.

I, myself am a guitar nerd so watching Rick bring out his personal Les Paul’s and his classic SG’s and his sweet 63″ Firebird are a treat for me.  Those are my highlights. What I would give to just drool for a few to talk guitars and hold them babies for a few and giggle like a little elementary school girl over something stupid like a guitar. But its the joy in life that brings us to music, right?

Ok, back to this review.  Cheap Trick performed their hits mainly towards the end of their set as they have been known for, and the crowd just ate it all up. The packed venue was constantly singing all the songs and enjoying the party that was setup this evening.

This was a Cheap Trick concert. You know what to expect at a show if you’ve been to one.
